“Solar Impulse - L'impossible tour du monde” premiered in Paris

A new 90 minute documentary called “Solar Impulse - L'impossible tour du monde” (in English “Solar Impulse, the Impossible Round-The-World Mission”)was premiered this Monday, 21 November at the Cinéma Gaumont Opéra Capucines in Paris. The film played to a full house of more than 700 hundred people who had come to see the exclusive preview.

Produced by GEDEON Programmes with the participation of France 5 and Science & Vie TV and directed by Eric Beaufils and Mathieu Czernichow, this French film tells the tale of the first ever solar flight around the world as well as the stories of our pilots and co-founders Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg within the pioneering adventure.  

The film is being aired on Swiss TV (RTS) on Monday, 21 November 2016 at 20:40 and on French TV (France 5) on Wednesday, 30 November 2016 at 20:45 (both with reruns and replays). If you don’t speak French, fear not, you won’t be left out – an English documentary by Far West Film is planned for the beginning of 2017!
